The show “Days of Japanese culture” started today at the Contemporary museum of calligraphy in Sokolniki.

Moscow’s Contemporary museum of calligraphy is happy to invite all those who love Japanese culture to our show program “Days of Japanese culture”. The event will be held from March 26 to 28 2010 at our Museum, pavilion 7, Sokolniki park, Moscow.

Vladimir Tolstoy, the President of ICOM Russia, Director of “Yasnaya Polyana” memorial estate and grand-grand grandson of Leo Tolstoy has confirmed his will to join the III International of calligraphy organizing committee.

This March the 8th the Contemporary museum of calligraphy and the Moscow branch of Louis Vuitton, that is famous for its hi-end cloths and accessories, hold a joint action for the International Women’s Day.

On Saturday the team of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy went to Leo Tolstoy’s native estate, Yasnaya Polyana (Tula Region).
