On May 12-16 Crocus Expo exhibition centre is going to welcome the 17th international exhibition Euroexpofurniture and the 8th international exhibition for component parts, accessories and furniture production materials Interkomplekt.

In the background of 20% of furniture production loss documented during the first three months of 2009, Euroexpofurniture and Interkomplekt are getting ready to demonstrate the latest developments of the Russian furniture manufacturing industry, offer fresh anti-recessionary ideas and advanced solutions for the furniture business.

The exhibitions have drawn over 700 manufacturers and distributors of furniture and components from Russia, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Egypt, China and 20 more countries. Among the exhibitors are the industry leaders which have managed to preserve steady growth rates and a plethora of «newcomers» gaining their market activity.

The exhibition programme of events is focused mainly on active use of the reserves and search for new development opportunities of the furniture production and trade. The exhibitions will welcome the Day of Design, Day of Trade and Promotion and Day of Advanced Technologies. For the first time in the context of the business programme there will be held the international forum «STRATEGIC SOLUTIONS FOR THE RUSSIAN FURNITURE MARKET PLAYERS. CRISIS IN THE FOCUS».

Free consultations and master classes from the leading architects, designers and decorators and cooking show Sweet Roundabout (hall 12) will be held throughout the exhibition.

The participants of Kreata contest of young designers will demonstrate the artworks on topic «World of children in the world of adults». The exhibitors will take part in the charity action organized by the Service of Charity and Welfare n.a. Alexander Men at the Russian Infant Clinical Hospital. Many exhibitors will go the Infant Rehabilitation Centre right from the exhibition.

On exhibition days free MVK shuttle bus runs from Strogino metro station to IEC «Crocus Expo».
